USING KHAN ACADEMY IN A UNIVERSITY COURSE ON DIFFERENTIAL AND INTEGRAL CALCULUS

Abstract

Technological tools were very useful for the teaching and learning process of various courses during the period of the pandemic caused by COVID 19, some of them gave positive results and, therefore, can continue to be used, even if the classes returned to face-to-face mode. The objective of this article is to describe the use given to the Khan Academy platform in a differential and integral calculus course, where three professors and their respective students participated; in addition, the perception that students had about the use of this platform is presented, which was collected by means of a questionnaire applied virtually. Among the main results are that, according to the students' opinion, the use of Khan Academy in the calculus course is very useful because it allows them to reinforce knowledge and allows them to practice; furthermore, they would recommend that this resource continues to be used in this course.
